This is one of my favorite songs I have written. The basic recording of this was done in 2012 in Reaper running via Wine in Linux. The drums and an acoustic guitar guide track were recorded live in a practice room with a crappy old drum kit. The recording and mix were what I could manage at the time, but not something I was overly happy with. The tempo was all over the place and too fast to phrase the vocals properly at times. Yesterday I imported the original raw tracks into Logic, slowed everything down a little and recorded a new lead vocal, re-amped my friend's 12 string Rickenbacker, and replaced the original drums with Logic's Drummer plugin. It's a little closer to how I'd like it to sound now. I didn't touch my friend's original e-bow Tele lead part, which always sounded awesome.

Cool, I enjoyed it.
