Also looks rlly helpful, and something i probably easily could have found myself... i didnt get to it yet, and i liked the forums, nice to have different kinds of input from different people.

Would probably not look into pirate metal f.ex if it wasnt for the two who mentiond it above.

(Since im influenced by electronic music, its more edm than metal, rock etc, and yadayadayada.....)

Edit:Ill look at that youtube video and alex moukala, others.
I just searched "Pirate music tutorial" in Youtube. That Inside Xbox one is really good, Robin Beanland has been around forever - he composed the music for the Killer Instinct games, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Donkey Kong Country among others.

Lots of really good info here too: https://music.stackexchange.com/questio ... c-of-pirat
Signatures are so early 2000s.

I should’ve known that there is a metal sub genre...

That reminds me, Wavesfactory released a 3-in-1 Accordion plugin recently. Still on intro sale, €39, super cheap.

You should probably look at the form of traditional English folk music. That's where most nautical music from England originated.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
