Somethings not right. I got a Samsung X5 SSD with a MacBook Pro and installed omnisphere on it. I expected screaming speeds. Instead it’s taking 10 seconds to just preview and longer to load. What’s happening?
Ssd is formatted exFAT.

I don't know for sure, but I'd guess this is the root of your problem.
Unless you're not running OS X on the MBP, you want something like HFS. From what I remember, FAT does not work well at all though it will work in a pinch if you just need to copy some files off a spare.

Because I figured if I need to use it with Windows, might as well.
exFAT didn't come with a warning that says "Warning: SLOW" I'm gonna have to reformat the whole thing.

exFAT can be a bit of a risky way of formating your drives, as not only it can lead to slow load times occasionally, it is a bit more prone to corrupting data. But that is mainly from experience.
Take care

Well reformatting solved it, though I have newer problems now.
I copied all sample libraries and logic data from the ssd to reformat it.
Upon restoring the data, logic doesn’t recognize the drive as it’s content drive, even though it’s the same name. Kontakt forgot all the quick load settings..Sigh. The speed is great though..
