Workaround for note repeat?

I really need midi note repeat functionality in Bitwig for a project I'm working on.
For those unfamiliar, what I'm talking about is the ability to hold a midi note and then have it repeat at a given subdivision of the beat (1/4, 1/6, 1/8, 1/12, 1/16, etc) until it is released.
I'm looking for any way that I can achieve this, even if it involves writing a controller script. Anyone have any ideas?

I think ere2learn is on the right track here with his answer, if the OP is meaning switching the timing on the fly ( as I would like to be able to do ) , then maybe some form of modulation or automation on the gate settings could work?

Thanks people. It looks like I will be able to do what I need to do simply by controlling the base rate of the arpeggiator and also switching between normal/triplet mode.

Or you can use my repeater, it has smooth rate and jitter controls. It's only mono and can't arpeggiate, I'm not sure if there's a way to do that since effects are monophonic for now.
