It doesn't sound analog. In a blind test between Diva and analog hardware, people chose Diva as the analog hardware.

This is easily the single funniest thing I've ever read on this board. Diva doesn't sound analog because in a blind test people thought it sounded more analog than the analog synth.

Wow, this has got to be U-He's new marketing material. "Doesn't sound analog... Sounds more analog than analog!"

DIVA was first mentioned on page one of this thread. Probably because OBsession is an analog modeled synth and DIVA has a reputation as being one of the best analog modeled synths at least by those who know what they're talking about.

OBsession, The Legend, DIVA and Repro-5 (i got all of those here) IMHO are all amazing softsynths that sound like real analog hardware synths and belong to the "state of the art" range of analog modelling.

DIVA could not really replace OBsession for me for what that one is able to do. Same is true about Repro-5 while this is based on the same CEM chips as in the OB-Xa but besides other differences in the sound it does not include the state variable 2-pole Lowpass filter (and also misses some features found in OBsession).

The modules concept in DIVA is quite unique and the modules indeed seem to be emulations of the corresponding hardware while the Uhbie filter AFAIK seems to be "inspired" by the SEM but not really modelled it.
The parameter ranges mostly do not fit the original hardware which makes recreating patches from the hardware a bit tricky and simply copying the settings from patch sheets will not work there.

Yes that is true. Much lower CPU usage especially with multiple instances.
