Vortifex wrote: Mon Jun 15, 2020 11:44 amThis is usually the language of people who lack social skills, and of bullies who won't accept the consequences of their actions. They will criticise objection to their behaviour, as if they are blameless and everyone else is at fault. Low emotional intelligence types who complain about 'snowflakes' and who tell depressed people to cheer up. It's good to try and not be that kind of person.
It is hardly black and white. I probably call 10 people a day an idiot to their face and nobody takes offence, ever, but if you even suggest something like that here, everyone acts like you kicked their dog. That's because I live in the world of adults, people capable of taking criticism on board, learning from it and growing, while around here people act like the kinds of children who cry when they drop their ice cream onto the footpath. They seem to have no coping skills whatsoever, like this is some kind of sheltered workshop. That, quite rightly, is their problem and the Mods should not turn it back on someone who is not acting unreasonably, simply because someone is upset.
wagtunes wrote: Mon Jun 15, 2020 11:32 am You know what I find ironic? I was suspended 7 days for "paranoia" and derailing a thread calling someone a spammer. Apparently, had I threatened to stab the guy with a knife I would have been okay.
I got suspended from a another forum for calling someone who was very clearly trolling a troll. Apparently I should have reported him (he also got banned for trolling). It's like they want you to behave like pre-teens because it makes you easier to control.

People around here definitely need to grow up. Someone could threaten to go around to my house and kill my entire extended family and it would never occur to me to report them, even if it sounded like they meant it. It is so completely childish.

You got suspended on a forrum? You're pulling my leg, I cannot imagine that being allowed to happen. Not one owned by Ben, right?

Why P 600? I read it is the little brother of Prophet 5 or the cheap version of it. So, what P 600 has above P5? Is it the FM?
I don't think the world's crying out for a P600 emulation to be honest. I'd much rather see something like the SQ80 given new life.

First time in a long while I've agreed with something you've posted.

The Prophet 600 has a CEM 3372 filter chip like Matrix-12 and Prophet T8 whille Prophet 5 Rev 3 (and OB-Xa) used a CEM 3320.

AFAIK a P 600 with the Gligli upgrade will be used. Today I posted 3 videos about the upgraded P 600.

I am quite sure a plugin made by Synapse Audio will also include several additional/advanced features like in The Legend and OBsession. The was a P600 panning mod (used in one of the videos) and i am quite sure this will also be included in an emulation (maybe even comparable to how it is done with the voice trimmers in OBsession).
Now with even more experiences in modeling analog synths upcoming emulations should be at a very high quality.
Oh ok about the filter. But in one of the videos (I also saw one before you post your links, I think from RetroSynth channel, Yes i posted a link. See at 3:12) which he uses FM. I checked RePro 5 and it doesn't have FM (I couldn't find it, only sync between the oscillators).

Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

I don't know really, but sure Richard knows what he is doing. He wouldn't waste his time and effort if he didn't find it worth the emulation.

One reason why AnX (aka Kriminal) is p**sed off might be that i currently got more than 100 factory presets and AFAIK he got around 0....

Prophet 5 in the polymod section ("VOICE MOD" in Repro-5) could route Osc B to Osc A pitch, Osc A PW and to the Cutoff.

Yes indeed. But Repro 5 can do most of it I guess.

The world of adults that I live in doesn't resort to calling other people names like a child throwing a tantrum after dropping his ice cream onto the footpath. Must be a different world you're living in.

absolutely zero, not a single one, I asked Richard to remove them all

they didn't have AT assignments, apparently that's essential (tho nobody seems to have told KS etc, so called professionals)

nothing to do with me being "pissed off" at all, I'm very happy thanks
