yup. thats what im saying!
No, not famous to me. I don't decide what makes things famous or well known. That's not my call. Or yours really. That's not how fame or notoriety work. There's a whole lot of other people on planet Earth that collectively get a say in that. Just because you or I don't know about something doesn't mean that it's not famous. For example, I couldn't name a single Billy Eilish song but I recognize she's famous despite my ignorance on her music.Teksonik wrote: Mon Jun 15, 2020 7:49 pmFamous to you. I've never heard of these nor do I have a desire to:Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Mon Jun 15, 2020 6:59 pm The sounds I described are the iconic Minimoog sounds heard in the songs that made the synth famous.
Famous...to youFunkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Mon Jun 15, 2020 8:35 pm
So you don't know any of the wildly famous Minimoog sounds
Because I don't care about what other people think is "famous".....never have.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Mon Jun 15, 2020 8:35 pmWhy your arguing about whether or not they're actually famous is beyond me.
It already started back when the first screenshot was revealed. Imagine when the full synth is relased.
Yeah, I have to admit I am also a bit annoyed, in that the handful of my patches that he's used are from the first batch I made, using the very first beta, so they don't incorporate any of the newer features and are, as a result, extremely basic. As new features appeared, I incorporated them and sent several new batches of vastly better patches but none of those have been used. I would actually be happier if mine were also removed but I figured Rich was getting hassled enough by others so I let it slide. I have asked him if he can change the attribution on them, though, as I don't think they are representative of our brand.AnX wrote: Mon Jun 15, 2020 1:04 pmabsolutely zero, not a single one, I asked Richard to remove them all
they didn't have AT assignments, apparently that's essential (tho nobody seems to have told KS etc, so called professionals)
nothing to do with me being "pissed off" at all, I'm very happy thanks
you're not the only person (not including me) who noticed a strange method of preset choiceBONES wrote: Tue Jun 16, 2020 2:21 amYeah, I have to admit I am also a bit annoyed, in that the handful of my patches that he's used are from the first batch I made, using the very first beta, so they don't incorporate any of the newer features and are, as a result, extremely basic. It's kind of weird because some of the beta-testers have made some amazing patches but almost none of them have been included in the factory bank. Honestly, if I was judging OBSession from the factory presets, I probably wouldn't buy it. It's only that I have played around with it from the start that I know it can do so much more than what the presets show. So keep that in mind when you finally get to demo it - the presets seem to have been chosen to show off only one aspect of this synth. Dave and I will have to put out our own banks to show how versatile it really is. (eXode should too, some of his patches are incredible!)
