June 16 was mentioned in this thread. And that has been quoted on other sites like Gearslutz.
That's today! I guess we'll see shortly if that rumor is true :)

Here is a demo of my "Lazer Harp" patch for OBsession which uses both Osc Sync and the X-Mod (at full amount):
OBSession - Lazer Harp IW_1
This is a single instance and no external FXs are used.
That patch is curerntly included in the factory presets.

Well there never really was a fixed date. It was more like guessing. Anyway were are indeed VERY close now and it could be released any day from now on.
But are you absolutely sure it won’t be released some day before today? I know, but I’m not allowed to say.

I love how the Sync sounds in OBsession and with adding X-Mod to it could get even better, dependig on which sound you want to have.

Hey, I thought people wanted their synths to scream?! :-?

My disappointment, that OB-XA V struggled to do so, was immeasurable. But it did eventually console me with some good kitty cats. Plus those 20 second modulation envelopes may come in handy, should the day ever come when I decide that it should speak some words. Perhaps best to start with something French, like Baguette?

If Obsession's X-Mod fails to scream, then I hope it's not so pedestrian that it (at least) manages to cat!

That patch is polyphonic and here is a demo where i play it with both hands (again no external FXs)
OBSession - LazerHarp IW_polyphonic_1
In some parts vibrato is added with aftertouch.

Here is an demo of my latest OBsession patch that is a 16-voice Unison Lead where 8 voices are tuned one octave lower (in the voice trimmers):
OBSession - Ultrasaw Lead IW_1
This is a single instance and no external FXs are used.
The Unison voice detune is done with the voice trimmers.

meh. let's just get the damn synth already. I couldn't care less about the presets, no offense to anyone here, but when it's an emulation synth of a straight-forward classic analog design, there is truly no need for presets, at least for my usage scenarios. I'm tired of all the previewing / arguing / blah blah. Let's just have the damn thing already.
