What do you like about this? It sounds pretty generic to me, I reckon I have a dozen VSTis that could manage it easily enough.

Well .... listening to your music .. I think our ears (and eyes) are tuned differently.
You have absolutely no feel or ear for the subtle finer details in sound (and visuals).
It's no surprise to me that everything sounds the same to you

Totally with Bones on this one. There was nothing particularly great about the sound in that posted example and it WAS pretty generic. But this goes along with the usual in forums: someone likes something but its not enough for them so they have to push it on everyone else to somehow validate their choice. If you like the OB-Xa its good enough dude. But Bones was right.

OK, I thought this was a late April Fool's joke. Nothing but a blank page for me and no mention on the regular Synapse page...? And no mention on FB. Is this announcement page just overloaded?

I managed to put Obsession in the basket to see the price and it was around 100$. Probably page it's overloaded now
