I'm more of a guitar player, but thought it was time to maybe put together a pedal board for bass. My current bass pedals consist of:
- EBS Fuzz Mo - I got this for really cheap, but it has a lot of versatility. You can dial in OD vs fuzz sounds and it has a blend control so the bottom doesn't get lost. I'm not looking for another fuzz.
- Digitech Synth Wah Filter - It's okay. I actually like the talk wah mode. Overall it works but isn't exciting.
I'll probably add a compressor and was wondering what other bass pedals are worth getting.

I never used pedals when I was a gigging bassist but I’ve got a couple since I stopped.
My setup is bas(s)ed on a Seymour Duncan Paranormal EQ/DI pedal. I use either an EHX Bass Big Muff Pi or Dod 250 (Reissue) before it, and an Art Levelar after for compression.
I’ll probably get a compressor pedal eventually, but only an 18V one like the Whirlwind OC Bass.
However, all of these, except the EHX, have been largely made redundant by a dbx 376. It’s great for recording bass direct, electric and acoustic.

I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.
