I have Bitwig 8 track at the moment.

On the Bitwig webpage all I see is Bitwig 16 track and then something called Bitwig 3 that apparently has unlimited tracks.

However when I go tho the specifications tab it doesnt list which version they are discussing.
It does seem to mention unlimited track but when i look for Bitwig Studio 3 specification on youtube e.g. there is no mention of unlimited tracks.

So how does the Bitwig Versions work and what is the Bitwig Studio version called that has unlimited tracks or at least more than 16

The current Bitwig Studio version is 3.2.4.

Dont know how I ended up here other than it was the most related section to ask my question. Did not even see the Bitwig forum.
I now see Bitwig way down in the list of forums.
I was under the impression this entire forum structure is about Bitwig. So apparently I was wrong. I will post there in future. I might get lost later again when I forget though.

Not sure if I understand your question. There is "Bitwig Studio" which is the full version without any limitations. Then there are 2 stripped down versions, called "Bitwig Studio 8 track" and "Bitwig Studio 16 track". The comparison charts I posted above show you the differences to the full versions.

The track count is usually unlimited, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

So if it doesnt mention 8 or 16 it is unlimited.
Definitely not obvious to me from the product-page.
