I put a new song in my music website called "The Message Came to Me" (the song on top). The next song down ("How Could It?") is more guitar oriented. Please tell me how you like the music and how it can be improved, and I will return the favor. Here is my link:

Sorry it took so long to get to these but I wanted to make sure I got my latest song up first.
"The Message Came To Me" - Between some of the coolest synth sounds and that voice, this, like so many of your songs, is just so much fun to listen to. I don't know if I ever asked this but do you do your own mixing and mastering? Anyway, my only beef with this song is it's too short.
"How Could It" - Such a contrast in styles. If I may ask, what amp and stomps used for this? Love that guitar tone. I'd like for the drums to hit harder for songs like this but it's just a taste thing with me. The mix is fine and everything can be heard. Would just love to hear you do one song with some really slamming drums ala Bonham or somebody like that. Oh, very cool guitar solo. Wish I could play like that. Hell, I wish I could play guitar at all.
Anyway, love your stuff as always. Look forward to any time you post something because I never know what I'm going to get.
As for my stuff, just posted "Once In My Lifetime". It's an over the top classic disco track. Curious as to what you think even though I'm gonna guess that disco isn't really your thing based on the music you do. Anyway, you can listen to that and anything else you want to.

wagtunes,
Thank you for reviewing my tunes as always! I appreciate it! "How Could It" uses the Roland VS8F-1 effects on the VS-880 for the guitar amp modeling. I probably used the Metal 5150 amp modeling on it all. No stomp effects, unless that includes the Roland delay effect; used an EBow at the very end of the lead guitar. Yes, I do all my own mixing & mastering. On to wagtown....

Hi, very cool tunes. I enjoyed your writing a great deal. Vocally perfect and well stylized for my tastes. "How Could It" made me think of Janes Addiction somehow, which is good. Your synth sounds are tasty. If I may, things seem a little distant/subdued or muffled overall. I find a little energy missing. Still, really strong writing and playing so I will listen to more

"The Message Came to Me" has a very good arrangement with a nice variety of sounds. A fun and unique song.
I think the mix could use more bass and could be clearer.

The first song a bit quiet to begin with. I turned up the volume but then i had to turn it back down. Sounds like Thomas Dolby. I like the guitar. I like the snares in the breakdown. I was disappointed that the "breakdown" was the outro to the song.
I didn't listen headphones. I listened on my Mixcube.
I enjoyed the second song too. Very psychedelic. Nice melodys, especially the vocals. Good production, sounds professional. The extended guitar is excellent.
Can you listen this, the first song, to return the favour please;

Your third song "heard my call". Again an excellent example of songwriting. I love the influences. I didn't like the synth. The special stutter effect was great. The bass guitar is great. I like the other synth at 2.20. I like the synths at 3.20. It was the first synth i didn't like, it sounded a bit out of place, maybe some reverb would help.

wagtunes,
I misspelled EBow; I corrected that. It stands for "electronic bow"; it electrically vibrates a particular guitar string. Not something you use everyday, but can work pretty nice at times.
noylis,
Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate it! Will now see if I can find your music. OK I reviewed your nice recording!

This is a catchy number. Great arrangement. Vocals have a nice punky feel and suit the song. Hints of Depeche Mode and Duran Duran.
Great work.
Great work.
