My votes (no order)

1-Zebra²
2-Aalto
3-Surge
4-Absynth
EH!?

Mine would be Sylenth1, Rapid, and ANA2, but if we're going for 4 options instead of 3, tie would be between Dune3 and Hive2. All of these in no particular order. Serum honorable mention.

Diva ?! Anyone?

Post

I like Diva's sound a lot, but the GUI is so oldschool by today's standards, and other synths get close ENOUGH for me. So it remains as a demo on my plugin list...

Post

1. Zebra 2
2. Hive 2
3. Softube Modular
4. Arturia Buchla Easel V
Four incredibly versatile synths with amazing sound shaping capabilities. Very deep, detailed and precise instruments. They all feel "right". And if I had to keep only one of them, that would be the zebra.
Arturia OB-Xa V is a nice surprise also: it has lots of sweet spots, and it's very easy to get great sounds from it in no time.

Why does it have to be either?

It could be both!
My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Akai VIP = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.
