I like Diva's sound a lot, but the GUI is so oldschool by today's standards, and other synths get close ENOUGH for me. So it remains as a demo on my plugin list...

... still not perfect workflow-wise, but the maximum you can make out of divas architecture and u-he's skinning scripts.

I actually like the Diva skin and workflow. But for Zebra2 the Neumann GUI is an absolute must have.

and RePro (forget it is an emulation and see it as an extraordinary synth in its own right)

There are a number of synths from other developers that could make the list in some aspects, but none of them have the all around excellence in every area like u-he offerings. Great browsers, to scalable GUI's, to flexible midi support, to effective and ongoing development, user scriptable GUI's (that go way beyond just changing some colors), great support, multi-platform including Linux, serial number only, multiple installations on a license, stable and reliable and will not become obsolete, etc.
