I’ve just released a new free download EP on Bandcamp. It’s sort of pastoral ambient, celebrating and reflecting on fascination with the landscape, nature and atmosphere of lakes I have visited here and abroad, particularly during my childhood in the 60s and 70s. There is something special about them, not just their natural history but that they are places where happy memories are often made.

Sucked me in with the pastoral reference. My favorite seed on streaming services lately is Ralph Vaughan Williams.

I really like the combination of quiet, contemplative music and natural sounds on Lakeside Picinic. Just Mayflies is a pretty tune. Enjoyed the cross-cutting rhythms in that one

thanks for that. I love Vaughan Williams too. He was composing until he was 83 or so.
