so, last year i realized i'm approaching 50 and thought about how my life would have been as an artist.
i went to the store, bought a roland jd-xi, went to another store and bought an insane amount of beer, and after the beer was gone, this is what was my first real composition:

The fat synth sounds a little too fat. Like a little too loud. Sometimes less is more. Also, when you have a lot of sound going on, sidechaining the drums can be good. I've been kind of obsessing over sidechaining.
