Triad is awesome and totally dig the gui and byome integration of lion. Just grabbed Byome been wanting it for awhile now because it took forever to guess the difference between it and triad, and there's not much as far as I can tell but its $15...

I would suggest to buy a preset bank. That's what I did. They have many on sale for under $5 that are not bad at all. Unless you really going to use something else.

Depends, I guess. Venom is the renamed, rebranded Spexx by Re-Compose. I demoed it a while ago and it is interesting enough for me. It's never been that cheap before, afaik. I think, I will get more use out of it than out of just another preset pack.

Not the cheapest, but after sorting the deals by most discounted I ended up getting CableGuys TimeShaper 2 for £11 as it looks genuinely fun to play with. I also had about £8 PB credit I’d accrued so only ended up costing me £1.70 due to the way VAT works.

Thanks. Excellent find and indeed very useful that almost everything else. I do have Grossbeat since I use FL Studio, but I will give this a good look as it looks more advanced and fun. I am short on PB credits though, so it would be £11 for me - still, not bad.

TimeShaper 2 as a cheap PiB purchase is strongly-suggested, it's a damn fun tool to play around with.
