Don’t know what the cheapest thing is, but in most cases they are reselling you a manufacturer’s serial key which you end up having to register separately and you can absolutely gift those keys to other people.

Fair warning that this is NOT (currently) true for W.A. Production stuff, which are several of the super-cheap options on there. If you buy a W.A. Production plugin at Plugin Boutique, you'll download the actual plugin from your PB account, and any updates to that plugin will also come to you via PB. W.A. doesn't have any way to register serial numbers from resellers. I wrote to them about this and they said it's something they're looking to fix someday, probably.

So if you just want to gift something, don't pick W.A.

The thumb up, thumb down system is just wisdom of crowds bs - it gave us Trump, Brexit and Amazon reviews - just ignore it is my advice.

If they keep post big-ass pics like NatLife though they might just wind up in a preset-only ghetto for their trouble and then no-one need worry about it.

I can see where you are coming from - let bargain info be objective and uncomplicated by subjective and petty up and down votes. Yes thats how it used to be before the thumbs up and down was introduced into kvr system. I personally like that option, its not much but it gives feedback. That sort of feedback may seem unnecessary (and it may be, functioning perfectly fine in the absence of thumbs) but there have been cases where its helped: there was a bargain post that I came to a few hours after it was posted, it had lots of down votes on it so I knew not to click on the link, perhaps it was a broken link, perhaps the description was cryptic and leading compared to the actual deal.

So there are good scenarios for down voting. I like them and would prefer them, but I understand that if you are a preset seller or Rastsound you're not going to get love for the near spamming of 'deals'.

If reported, the mods will delete pics in the BO thread (and did this morning). If you see one and it hasn’t been done already, just report it.

I've Foe'd most of the preset sellers, which puts them on the ignore list. But it only works if you are signed in. And then if you come across their posts elsewhere, they are also ignored....which can be good or bad.

True, its the 'risk' you end up taking, you can also click to see reveal their comment if you want to which is at least a plus in that situation, but I know what you mean Ive had times where a foe's comments are in a different thread and I need to manually bring them back to parity for that particular discussion.
