Presets:Plugins ratio of bargains is like 5:1.
(And my buying ratio is 1:5, but that's irrelevant)

i have no clue why we can't have a:
Bargain Center (Plugin Bargains ONLY; NO Chat)
Bargain Center (Presets/Sample packs Bargains ONLY; NO Chat)
Bargain Center: discussion, gossip, etc.

it means one extra thread, and preset makers can post five times as much in the preset bargain center then for all i care

What makes you think the results of that poll will be representative of the people who read the "no chat" thread?

"no chat" exists to provide a "noise-free" way to see the latest deals *without* having to read the discussion thread or wading through the other threads in the "sell & buy" sub-forum. It seems entirely plausible that people will view the "no chat" thread in isolation via notification/bookmark.

Sample packs should not be moved to a separate thread. What if, for example, Toontrack have a sale on their midi expansion packs. I don't want to be looking in multiple places. One thread, is convenient.

I'm going to say Sample pack and preset pack makers are those who make samples and presets from/for products they don't actually sell. I will say, now that I have Omnisphere, I do actually buy presets packs once in a while. But because of these guys, I almost never go to the bargain no chat thread. Especially when I'm on my phone. It is impossible to get through. And I don't own 90% of the products they are selling presets for. And very few are actual bargains. Just new product announcements with a slight discount.

Back to bargains. NI has confirmed that if you buy/register a version of Komplete 12 during September, you will get a free update to Komplete 13 of the same kind.

What makes this a bargain is that some sellers who have box versions of Komplete 12 updates/upgrades are selling them at half price. Unfortunately, I did not find any US sellers with the boxed edition. They are mostly European/UK resellers like Thomann - https://www.thomannmusic.com/native_ins ... update.htm

Good deal but includes shipping. However, you don't have to wait until next summer to get the update/upgrade.
