anyone know of such a thing? i know that MPC software has an option to use your computer keyboard to hit the drumpads, but i'd like to be able to do this with other plugins, like say Air Transfuser.
So is there a plugin I could put before Transfuser that would convert my QWERTY presses into cc messages?

open your hosts kb input, thereshoukd be options in here.
then you can play keys with qwerty.

no problem and otoh:
how should a qwerty keyboard be able to transmit midi CC ?
midi CC is an identifier (cc number) and a value (1-127)
you could map a key to a certain cc but wahat about the value ?
so probably sos87 meant note-on/off anyways...

The thing is CC is continuous controller, ie., none are actual toggles. It seems like certain ones are, in that from the outset of MIDI synthesizers were hard-wired along with the pertinent device (literal sus pedal) into a toggle function, CC64 for sustain pedal for example. I remember when Cubase key editor would force your entry if above the center (63) to 127 or below it to 0 to effect this in say a CC64 lane, which it no longer does. So unless whatever you're writing into does that kind of thing you may as well use note numbers, 0 = off, 1 = on or like that outside your musical note range.
