Quite a list of good news, thanks.
I would work on getting rid of that ambient sound on voice, it is disturbing.
Reflections mix with next word and so on.

Sorry, I'm not a native English person but I fluently speak 4 languages where English is the last one :)
My voice sounds like that, I'm not an entertainer or so ;)

I could be wrong, but maybe lfm means that the quality of the voice recording is a bit low. IMO, you could benefit from a better microphone.

Other than that, really good job with those videos. :) I remember you bought the domain from someone else here once? It really has come a long way. I also like the look of your blog, it's nicely clear and well laid out. What could be better is that, sometimes, when you click a link, you get directed to the linked website in the same browser tab you opened the blog on. Better would be to open the link in a new tab (after all you want people to stay on your site, right?). I also had it a couple of times now that you placed links to "More info on the manufacturers website" or something similar in articles about a product, and the link just sends you to the homepage of the company, not the respective product page. That could be improved. Other than that, nice work. Hope you can live from what you do, or at least get a fair share for it. :)

Hey chk071, thanks for your input. My microphone is a high-quality one, I used a long time. The current problem is that I moved my home so my new studio is not ready. So no acoustic treatment what makes mic recordings hard. I used RX 8 to remove the noise, reverb, etc. So sorry for that.
The open link in a new tab, I will try to change this in the upcoming posts. Thanks for this input, sounds good :) For the second one, it often occurred that links to products changed due to different reasons. To prevent a link update marathon, I keep it simple :) It's my main job so I need to live from it. Every month, I try my best to cover my bills, etc. :) Thanks for your support :) Not only you but the entire KVR community :)

Interesting, my preference is the opposite. I can already open a link in a new tab if I want to, by middle-clicking in Firefox. Or left-click if I want the same tab. It's my choice. I don't like it when web sites override my preferences. Better to default to same tab, and allow users to set up their browsers if they want something different. "Open in new tab" is a relic from the days when three-button mouses were rare, and it's time to phase out that behaviour now.

At least, that's my opinion :-) Thanks for sharing the video!

+1 on keeping link click behaviour as it is. Do not mess about with standard browser behaviour.
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. Image

There is no "overriding preferences". It's a simple design decision. It's simply stupid for the site owners to always send the viewer to external websites, instead of keeping them on their own website. It's basic 101 of web design considerations. And, personally, I absolutely hate it when a website does that, because I expect it to behave like any other website in the internet.

Just click a external link on KVR, and the site will never load in the same tab.

I prefer links that open a new tab :)

Yes, KVR is using fairly old phpBB software. Just click on an external link on Wikipedia, or many other sites, and it will load in the same tab unless you choose to ask for a new tab. The point is for the user to have the choice. KVR doesn't give me a choice. Most of the other sites I visit do.

Nah, normal commercial websites don't have that behavior. Dunno why Wikipedia does it.
