Looking at the manufacturer's website (and listening to the demo), the Bakfram pedal is using granular synthesis to time stretch. So as Neon is suggesting, look for granular synthesis plugins that work on real time audio inputs. There are TONS.
My own go to is Unfiltered Audio Byome (the 'granulator' module; the "GRNLR - super slow motion" factory preset is a great starting point). (Byome is on sale for $49 right now — like other PA plugins, avoid buying full price.) For the money it's probably hard to beat Soundhack Spiralstretch. It has both a phase vocoding mode which should sound much smoother than Bakfram, but also a granular stretching mode like Bakfram.
