Thanks man!

Lots of really creative tracks this month. Got to get my votes in now before the deadline.

Is this rule coming from the redundancy department of redundancy:

*You must vote on all the songs except for yourself.

Since the rules already state that you give points to your 10 favorites and can’t vote for yourself.

Plus you can’t actually vote for all the tracks when there are more than 11.

Yup. I suggest adding the line:

*Ignore rules that are reduntant and/or contradictive.

Yes, but I believe the people who oversee those rules were made redundant

No, no, no you guys are making this too simple. We must have proper bureaucracy. :tantrum:

It aint always right to order your creations as if there really were just one best, and one 2nd best, and one 3rd best and so on. Sometimes - this month for example - block votes would be better, like a group of best, and a group of 2nd best, and so on, whereby the number of groups and the number of members inside each group are free.

Should I have written 'subjectively likeable' instead of 'best'?

“ordered based on your balanced judgement of the entry's quality of composition/arrangement/mixing/mad playing skillz/adherence to theme/you liking it; with weight adjusted to each variable as you see fit”

The two people I gave the highest points gave me none in return. :)

Good. It’s not supposed to be a favor system.

That’s what I like about this contest. I cast my votes and then the next guy has the same list upside down. :D

I have the perfect song. It's from a revue I did years ago called the gossip song. I only have the instrumental without lyrics.

Mind you I was 18 when I wrote this and I aint a prodigy...therefore... https://davidsprouse.bandcamp.com/track/gossip-song-2

That’s good because this month’s theme is “something inspired by the Halloween franchise”
