No, I just activated the beta.
Maybe you didn't allow the connection to Live the last time.
There was nothing to allow.

And this is across two different systems.

One of which has had Live 9 and 10, and 10 betas on it without any problem with authorisation.

I coudn't authorise through the program at all a few days ago and it took quite a few efforts to do it offline. Assumed it was just the site getting hammered but if so I'm surprised it hasn't settled down yet.

Extreme? Cubase doesn't even have basic modulators :P
so don't want to hijack the topic and start a praise Jo Langie (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MuLab_(MuTools) ) but MUX has been cooked well done :D

wanted to test it in C11 at least a bit :hail:

I had to reboot the computer and it worked. It says you need to reboot as well.

Except comping and a few cool new devices nothing else really excites me, i should add that i like the tiny GUI changes, i hate the wasted space on the left of the piano roll, and i hope they will add some more features soon.

I already pre-ordered, as Ableton and i go really back, it's just becoming more of a long-distance relationship thing.
Not every update is going to excite every user. Comping, MPE, and true multi-clip editing are huge for some users. The only thing I really care about is the multi-clip editing. But I don't see a way to get rid of all the new stuff to the left to maximize the horizontal editing space. Find one?

I like the new Randomize button :) Quick and easy way to create new instrument presets. Some even sound pretty good.

Did you register your beta 11 serial you received by email following the procedure described in that email?

Double clicking the header of the clip panel collapses it. This saves some space. But there isn't yet a way to collapse or hide all panels.

MPE should have been there DAY ONE because it was a thing when 10 launched. Or it should have been added a year ago.

But a proper version update shouldn't really only cater to "Some" users but an overall. This is more or less a mustard hotdog where you have to buy the upgrade to have ketchup which only some people like and then calling it Hotdog2.0

MPE was quite a novelty 3 years ago.

How many synths support MPE? How many other hosts already have MPE support?

There was no point for Ableton to release a feature that barely anyone could use, or be willing to pay for

I switched from Live to Bitwig specifically to use MPE...I have already pre ordered the LIve update.
A lot of synths support MPE including several of the Live synths
You don't need an MPE Keyboard to benefit from polyphonic expression on individual notes witn chords, you cam just draw it in, it has many new possibilities that you could not have achieved before...PUSH2 users also benefit from this.
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!
