thanks for the spin, John.
yeah, technotronic used the yamaha tx81z Latelybass
on their song "pump up the jam" which was very popular
for exercising in the 90's, so i can go with that idea.

Clean, crisp and enjoyable. Nice stuff. I think the kick works well on this track. That little arp was a great touch, too. For being an energetic song, I really like that the mix wasn't in your face, full blast and full throttle the entire time. Great job on the mix.

Nice. Very energetic.
For me its gets muddy ~1:40, could do with some appropriate EQ'ing etc., and the lead melody gets slightly lost for me at that point. And lead is a bit too quirky (vibrato) for me.
Some nice breakdowns and drum fills.
I hereby register my like :tu:

I think I'm with Frantz on this one, layzer. I think the attack of the kick is a little too loud, and "hides" the bass. I think changing this might give the track a little more drive and groove. Nice, bright mix (in all the right places), and an enjoyable tune too.

Good work :)

thanks for listening, glad it worked for you as is, but a quick
look at it with the spec analyzer does show some low end and high end
over emphasis which i may come back and tame. :borg:

thanks cheeking it and for the production feedback Tim, frantz and bansaw.
a new version was uploaded that hopefully addresses the issues mentioned.

Well, the kick is not overwhelming now but it sounds a little dull in the new version. I think it is good enough but you might want to switch up the drum sounds in the next one.

I enjoyed this one it made me tap my foot a lot.

Just listened to one of those doom digga doom digga doom digga doom digga doom digga doom digga doom digga doom digga doom digga doom digga repetitive ones, so this was quite a lift after that.
Just an old bloke who likes listening to a wide range of music. I also fart quite a lot!
