KVR is not any different than social media platforms like fb,ig,reddit etc.
People with an inferiority complex tend to compensate for it by acting up online.
As a lurker I have noticed it here quite often, the worst are the developer bashing threads lol.
But there should be a line and insulting others repeatedly should be looked into by the mods for the sake of the overall atmosphere. this being said, most of the content here is great

The worst thing is that all the good intentions drown in all the indifferent posts.
All the nice audio and video clips and patches that many submit disappear in a flash in the thread, so very few people discover them

@Matt; great synth! Love the UI, the mod system (stereo is just amazing), filters are good (enough) (love the comb filter!), FX is handy and sounds nice, nice advanced settings for unison, great wavetable editor and options to alter/morph the osc's, awesome FM (no PM, i believe, but real FM)...Love it!

Also played with it for about half an hour, must say, its great synth, very clean sounding and modulation options are great. Definitely wont replace Dune 3, Rapid, Hive 2 and Spire, but it can ride along equally.

definitely interested in getting a wavetable synth. wasn't too into serum after demo'ing it. will give this a try for sure. I know there is no set way to use a synth but how are people generally using the plugin? what is your preferred way to use vital?

Can't believe this is offered free. I reckon I'll get the $25 version just to say thanks. Love the way it works and sounds.
Can get some seriously interesting sounds from it and the cpu isn't bad at all. Great work!

From general stabs, to plucks, to weird sequencing, to growl basses, to weird FX, to pads, to abstract stuff...wojf62902 wrote: Fri Nov 27, 2020 3:13 pm definitely interested in getting a wavetable synth. wasn't too into serum after demo'ing it. will give this a try for sure. Is there still the 5 TTWT per day restriction for the free AND the Plus version
Because for someone like me who bought for $20 the Plus Version it would be nice if there were more Text to Wavetable attempts possible. Let's say 10 or 20 attempts per day.
But unfortunately my impression is that Matt Tytel left this thread many days ago, I haven't seen him posting anything here since he has his own forum!

Digital sounds. If you want authentic vintage tones, better to use a nice analog modelled VA like RePro, The Legend etc. Imo Vital excels at complex, heavily modulated, digital timbres, think growls and stabs, dystopian pads, cutting FM/PM leads and so on. I'm sure you can coax out some nice soft/warm sounds out of it, but really I think it excels at unashamedly digital stuff and that's a good place to start with it. For example, the inharmonic stretch spectral morph will turn most source tables into a glassy/bell versions of themselves and is very nice for ambient plucks or pads, with lots of reverb or crunchy leads when played in lower octaves with plenty of distortion.wojf62902 wrote: Fri Nov 27, 2020 3:13 pm definitely interested in getting a wavetable synth. wasn't too into serum after demo'ing it. will give this a try for sure. Probably for the best, at least there he can deal with trouble makers polluting threads quickly and directly.

The Vital Forum is really well organized. You can tag posts as Bug Reports, Features Requests, Support Requests etc.
Much more efficient for Matt to keep track of I'm sure.
I'd suggest we reserve general chatter for this thread and only use the Vital forums for....well vital posts. That will help keep the clutter there to a minimum.
On the subject of the Vital forums I have seen several people report issues with the graphics and performance in FL Studio.
Has anyone here experienced the same issues ? I have not even on my rather under powered internet computer.

I have an enormous support backlog but I'll pop my head in from time to time. For support I'm forwarding people to the Vital forum so I can keep track of all the issues (easier than sifting through KVR comments).Tricky-Loops wrote: Fri Nov 27, 2020 3:54 pm But unfortunately my impression is that Matt Tytel left this thread many days ago, I haven't seen him posting anything here since he has his own forum!![]()
