added my serum WT and noises folder in Vital; winrevvy wrote: Fri Nov 27, 2020 4:29 pm I'm so enjoying the free version but thinking "hmm, wouldn't mind having access to the extra wavetables"
I guess that's how it goes...

Vital is my first WT synth that allows you to do import/export etc so I don't have that luxury. Some form of paid upgrade incoming...exmatproton wrote: Fri Nov 27, 2020 4:32 pmadded my serum WT and noises folder in Vital; winrevvy wrote: Fri Nov 27, 2020 4:29 pm I'm so enjoying the free version but thinking "hmm, wouldn't mind having access to the extra wavetables"

Still learning the synth after about 30 mins playing, I have a question:Whywhy wrote: Fri Nov 27, 2020 4:25 pm Some of my new presets for Vital:

What happens if preset packs like this (or presets in general) include WTs that I don't have installed? (Is that a really dumb question?)

They are included in the preset files.revvy wrote: Fri Nov 27, 2020 4:43 pm What happens if preset packs like this (or presets in general) include WTs that I don't have installed? (Is that a really dumb question?)
Also, the presets I downloaded from Discord also contained the wavetables.
I initially thought they were only included if you used the "export" function from the menu, but that wasn't correct. They seem to be always included. Makes transfer very painless.
Cheers,
Tom

BTW, how does Vital compare to the Vaporizer 2 wavetable synth? Do I still need Vaporizer 2 or is Vital even better

Thanks for reporting. I'm not sure what's going with those other systems. I know there have been some reports of laggy GUI in FL Studio after the 20-04 Win 10 update. Nothing to do with Vital.exmatproton wrote: Fri Nov 27, 2020 4:20 pm Hi Tek. Running FLS 20.8 (used 20.7 as well) and i have no issues with performance. (win10x64). This is with the VST3 version. Didn't try the VST2 version

Man, Vital is really nice for evolving pads indeed.
Just one instance using only 1 osc with one of my own wavetables:
