Seems to be bug in Komplete Kontrol - when I try and assign change of filter type to a knob the filter type does change (ie I can hear the change) but the dropdown menu doesn't.

Creativity and success don't depend on whether you have a $1,000 studio or a $100k studio. But it's independent from the age.SneakyBeats wrote: Sat Nov 28, 2020 12:43 pmWhat is even more fun, is that most often that 12yo kid with bandlab is more succesful than that 40yo with 100k studio.VELLTONE MUSIC wrote: Sat Nov 28, 2020 10:59 am This is joke, please don't react negative:):)
Old school producer - 40 y.o,100 000 dollars studio,20+ years experience.
Modern producer - 12 years old,Bandlab + Vital,a lot of soda:):):)

(Just as an example. The old Giorgio Moroder could still be successful, too. Or Vangelis.)

Leaving aside the few bugs in KK I have managed to make a preliminary NKS/Komplete Kontrol template for Vital Audio Vital - but for now I've left off the controls that don't seem to play well with the KK interfaceaMUSEd wrote: Sat Nov 28, 2020 1:18 pm Seems to be bug in Komplete Kontrol - when I try and assign change of filter type to a knob the filter type does change (ie I can hear the change) but the dropdown menu doesn't.

The template includes all image and database files needed for NKS integration and a controller template to get people started on saving out their own presets for this (sorry I'm not going to make nksf versions of all the presets as I have the Plus version but have no idea which ones are just for free so don't want to accidentally release the wrong ones - besides this is all about having enough hands-on control for performance, and making your own presets).
Had to make some pragmatic decisions about the optimal layout for controls so this is a WIP - I didn't map everything as it would take up too many user pages (ie too much menu diving), as always there's a tradeoff between usability and comprehensiveness. So please let me know if you have better ideas.

Would be great if Macro's reported their designated names to the host so they update with the patch change

One thing I prefer about this over Serum is it actually has a really lovely reverb (I always found Serum's rather harsh)

Do you have any plans to add Helm also under the Vital Audio brand? As it's freeware, it could have a donation button next to dl button. And since you made that synth too, it'd be more clear etc. And would bring more stuff under your new brand
Next you'd obviously need to create some crazy ass additive synth. Then a modular and then a sampler

It's definitely one of the standout FX for me as well and a universe better than Serum's. You can also coax a nice coloured reverb like effect from the chorus too.aMUSEd wrote: Sat Nov 28, 2020 5:53 pm One thing I prefer about this over Serum is it actually has a really lovely reverb (I always found Serum's rather harsh)
Always Read the Manual!

With the kind collaboration of a fellow member of the NI Forum ('Vagus') we now have .nksf files, with previews, for the free patches as wellaMUSEd wrote: Sat Nov 28, 2020 4:45 pmLeaving aside the few bugs in KK I have managed to make a preliminary NKS/Komplete Kontrol template for Vital Audio Vital - but for now I've left off the controls that don't seem to play well with the KK interfaceaMUSEd wrote: Sat Nov 28, 2020 1:18 pm Seems to be bug in Komplete Kontrol - when I try and assign change of filter type to a knob the filter type does change (ie I can hear the change) but the dropdown menu doesn't.

If anyone has Vital presets, wavetables, control templates, etc. to share, it would be great if you'd also post them in the following thread:

Why is it the Plus version is missing many of the presets found in the free version?

Wow, that´s a big compliment though regarding the hundred thousands of great tracks produced with Massive over the years!!SamDi wrote: Sat Nov 28, 2020 10:51 am ...

But it´s true... I still remember the masses yelling in the clubs and festivals: "Great track but the filters are not so good!!!"
