Hi Brian from Roland Cloud. Do you know if purchasing Zenology Pro Analog Icons bundle (which comes with a year of Ultimate) also includes the Play 4 Life promotion (which comes with purchasing a year of Ultimate)?

Post

If you sign up for the Pro membership for a year, I take it you can only claim the instruments for life included in that membership right?

I heard somewhere that when you have an active subscription, you can switch your permanent licenses, correct?

Basically what I'm trying to figure out is if I could move my existing 808 and D-50 licenses to something else and then sign up for the pro membership for a year (and thus be able to re-claim the 808 and D-50 from that).

Hi, thenumber23! That's a great question. The ZENOLOGY Pro Analog Icons bundle is a bundle and is not selectable for the Play 4 Life promotion. ZENOLOGY Pro itself is not available for reward selection, but that is the only instrument that is exempt. All of the other instruments are selectable as Lifetime Keys through the Play 4 Life promotion.

Hey, Echoes in the Attic! Good to hear from you again. Actually, if you get the Pro subscription, any instrument (aside from ZENOLOGY Pro) is selectable. There is a chart that lists what instruments are available in the Pro subscription, I know which one you're referring to, but the Lifetime Key that you would get from the Pro level Play 4 Life would apply to any instrument (except ZENOLOGY Pro), not just what is listed in the Pro tier subscription instruments.

About switching your permanent licenses, there is a tool in the account membership page that allowed to try different licenses, but it is under maintenance currently. We should have it back shortly. For the time being, you can Contact Us at: http://www.rolandcloud.com/support to pick your license(s). Thanks!

That's a pretty good deal then. 2 lifetime instruments for $99?

I still don't like the cloud licensing though, so still torn.

Hi Brian.McClelland. Thanks for getting back to me on this. I think my question is a little different than what you answered, but I'm not sure. I'll try to rephrase: If I buy Zenology Pro Analog Icons bundle for $499 now, then would I qualify for 2 lifetime keys (say, Jupiter 8 and Roland D-50) at the end of the included 1 year ultimate subscription?

Hi, please forgive me if they are nuances I missed.
But when I look at the play 4 Life.
Pro is $99 and you get 1 lifetime key.
ultimate is $199 and you get 2 lifetime keys.

How do you get 2 lifetime instruments for $99?
Thanks in advance.

The TR-6S does.
The TR-06 doesn't.
There is no TR-06S.

Ok, the TR-6S. Too many similar names.
Anyway, it’s an FM synth, honest.

My mistake, I didn't see that. I thought it was 2 regardless of which membership you chose. That makes a lot more sense now. Thanks.

There's a new Cloud Manager update and the load times are now much improved for the Legendary and AIRA series plugins.

Yes! Right on, Funkybot's Evil Twin, I was meaning to swing by and let everyone know. This update has improvements to the auth system, a zoom feature for the ZENOLOGY Pro edit window (control + K), and improved load times across all instruments. As always, I'm around if anyone need help with the system. Thanks!

They DO tend to do stuff around the holidays because I can remember the JV1080 and XV5080 being released around this time of year, so I'm hoping that something comes out this year.

If I had to shot-in-the-dark theorize, I'd say we're getting SRX Drums (because that's the final SRX card to be released) and hopefully a new synth. My hope is that any new synth will be the JD990 with the V-Synth being a runner-up.

As long as it's not another drum machine
