the only sound thats missing in their mellotron to me is a ditortion lead guitar they have electric guitars butclean ones without distortion ...or they should just make an emulator II wich only has been covered by the uvi people until now

Well you'll be happy with the Streetly Tapes vol 5 expansion, the very first patch in the dropdown is Adrian Belew's distorted guitar.

The "Adrian's Guitar Wide Slow & Dyn" patch is just made for ambient prog.

I just picked it up and basically if you have M-Tron you should get it. It has some pretty damn good patches.

Yeah, I'm building a track with it now. Lots of great sounds in there. I love the fretless bass and some really usable grouped woodwind.

Whacked up a tune using a few sounds from the new expansion. Only thing apart from M-Tron Pro on here is Superior Drummer 3 for the drums and Aberrant DSP SketchCassette II to give it that old tape found in the bottom of a box in the loft vibe.

Because of TALs JP-8?

Tal J-8 and Arturia's new Jup-8 jus came out. And both are very good, so yeah it woul dbe a lot of competition, especially with the Roland Cloud version out there as well. I used to hope that GForce would do a jupiter-8, but now I think we are all jupped out.
