And both are very good, so yeah it woul dbe a lot of competition, especially with the Roland Cloud version out there as well. no, first new product is not streetly tapes 5. they clearly stated "no updates to previous products". so no M-tron, no Minimonsta, no Oddity, you get the idea.
two completely new instruments.
no problem at all if one of them is Jupiter. quality wise, G-force would flush both Arturia and TAL down the drain with confidence.
problem is, they're slowpokes and even having a greater product on their hands, they're losing the market by being late to the banquet.
money Arturia and TAL got in recent weeks could be G-force's instead, if only they chop-chopped. but buggers slow-poked, so no bling-bling.

I´d actually throw all my money (not that it´s a lot
) at GForce if they came up with a good Jupiter-4...

I probably would too. I'm sure they would make an amazing Jupiter, no matter what version they made. Even if they did do the 8, I bet it would be every bit as good as the other options out there, maybe better.epiphaneia wrote: Sat Dec 19, 2020 1:55 pm I´d actually throw all my money (not that it´s a lot) at GForce if they came up with a good Jupiter-4...

Not likely. Arturia did an amazing job (haven’t heard TAL).minkray wrote: Fri Dec 18, 2020 11:38 pm no problem at all if one of them is Jupiter. quality wise, G-force would flush both Arturia and TAL down the drain with confidence.

Hello everyone. My name’s Graeme, I work for GForce. Whilst it is true that we’re currently developing two new instruments, one is significantly closer than the other. I’m just popping my head up to try and temper expectations on the 2 new thing. One is close, the other perhaps we forgot about for a while, ey? God knows how many pages this thread could get to before then! Merry Christmas.

I assume by temper expectations you mean in terms of time expectations not the razzle dazzle of the products.
That is we may be hoping for a CS-80 but turns out ot be a Casio CZ 101?
And Merry Christmas to you and yours too

Hi Graeme, first, Merry Christmas & New Years and/or a happy season for everyone of different faiths (or none) and persuasions.Shaetano wrote: Thu Dec 24, 2020 4:39 pm Hello everyone. Like how close? Like, "we're currently in beta testing" close? Or like, "we're all set to go we're updating the website and preparing videos" close? Or "we're developers, we think we're like 95% done, the end is in sight, just finalizing some things before sending it to the testers" close? Cause I've seen that last one take years!

Well, it would be silly of me to make promises because as you all seem to remember, we’ve been stung by that before! Can I get away with saying 2021?
The product has been with beta testers for a long time. I can’t say testing is finished, it’s never finished, and there always could be a nasty surprise that knocks release back. But hopefully we’re just wrapping up the little things from here on out.
It is worth the wait.
Nothing wrong with a CZ101.
