Argh. RC has been working for me without major hitches so far, but now the RC manager constantly asks me to log in, then tries to update itself, then download freezes at 1%, etc. Looks like it already updated itself once, but now it tries to do it again, or something.... I'm just not sure, the whole thing is an utter mess. This happens on two separate computers, so it shouldn't be something wrong with my system?

Roland, I love you, or at least I try my best, because your hardware synths were my first keyboards in the early 90's, and I have fond memories from those times. JD-800 is probably the favourite piece of technology I have ever owned. Please:

- Hire someone who knows how to make websites, plugin interfaces and other software look good, attractive and usable. Right now everything looks like it was made by coder, not a GUI/graphic designer. (Nothing against coders, I'm one too! But there's a person for every job )

- Case in point: Roland Cloud manager. Why does it take forever for it to "start up"? What is it doing? Why does it look dark, bleak and uninviting? Can't the SERIES labels be in alphabetical order?

- Do a better job of hiding the technical side of things, and instead try make everything look more like a finished, usable product. When I log in to the website, why I often get a stupid "Token expired" popup, sometimes multiple times? What "token"? I have no idea what you are talking about (and I'm a web designer and coder). Just ask me to log in, then remember my login, done.

- The whole Play4Life/Loyalty/YOURS/whatever thing is such a mess that I stopped trying to make sense of it a long time ago. I don't want to contact your support to ask what my status is or what I'm entitled to, just tell me clearly on your webpage or account page what I can expect. Saves your support's time too.

I love their incompetence, I cancelled after the first year to get the 2 free plugs and ever since then have had full unlimited access to everything without any subscription!

Despite this, the RC manager is so shit and annoying that I still don't use the Roland plugs, not even the free one ones I got, not worth the hassle ....

Then there is the JP-8080.

I'm curious. Why do so many people want the JP-8080 or JP-8000 as a plugin?

Like someone else the feedback oscillator is pretty unique, of course their is the Supersaw but there is more to it, like the other waveforms too.

8080 was like the 8000 on steroids it added unison mode (great for using the more basic waveforms), a noise waveform, a distortion effect and a Vocoder.

Also you have one, while many others don't, nor have the space or hassle of buying a 2nd Hand on eBay or Reverb.

I'd really like to see the Jupiter 6 emulated often overlooked. The main Digital one for me is the JD-990 with all its cards and especially expansions like the Vintage Card. The actual hardware second hand along with the JD-800 go for crazy prices on places like Reverb.

Emulate them all I say.

I tested the D50 yesterday.It has a patch called " first supersaw."I xould not find a patch called
"Rezosweep" that is in My d100. Christmas time, with all this stuff.What to test today !!!

I am not sure that I have all the D50 patches.
I have The 2 beyond Fantasia banks and the 90's pop bank.
Are there more banks? A guy on youtube was calling up presets.
I can not find presets.

Unfortunately, I don't know what the chances are of the JD990 having ALL the cards. That would definitely be ideal, but just the fact that SRX cards exist as separate plugins versus all-in-one shows they aren't going that way. It's a strange choice and one I never really agreed with -- the Korg M1 and Korg Triton plugin have all the cards/expansions in one plugin and it makes things way more flexible.

Still, I think we can likely look forward to the Vintage Synth card being put in which is really where it's essential. Not only did they sound incredible together, but there was a slew of exclusive patches that were tailormade for the JD990 that you couldn't access on a JV1080. I think the chances are good that those will be made available

Zenology Pro is the all-in-one synth, it's got all the SRX (renamed EXZ expansions) and XV patches + pcm waveforms.
