“Iconic Sky” is a new band and album featuring an eclectic blend of music falling under the umbrella of classic progressive rock with 80’s and pop thrown in for good measure. In particular, the vocal harmonies from Robin and John really make the tracks stand out. Fortunately, no one let me sing.
Iconic Sky are:
Robin Schell -Lead vocals and keys
Jeremy Cubert - Chapman Stick, keys, piano, Linnstrument, fretless tapping bass, guitar
Tom Kraus - guitars and bass
John Beagley - keys, programming, vocals, producer

Part way through "Hollywood Hates You" right now. Had to pause to say this sounds pretty cool. Nice work.

Hollywood Hates You - GREAT Listen...some well-judged changes and solid, warm, shiny production...ending was quite Awaken-esque!
I'll checkout others when time allows.
MIX - one thing that I thought might be improved (and it's all subjective, I know)...
Not quite enough space to breathe at times...different parts 'battling' a little bit against each other..everything just a tad too full as such?

Thank you for very kind words! Yes - there is a lot going on which made it challenging for John and it does get busy in spots. I give him credit for pulling together the various parts into a cohesive whole. The song was recorded in four sections that were weaved into one. My eyes water over when I have more than eight tracks to deal with and I think we had at least eight tracks for the vocals alone.

I just listened to "Hollywood Hates You", and I really enjoyed it. It ticks lots of "Prog" boxes for me. My favourite part was the last 7-8 minutes, with its synth-laden atmospherics. It reminded me of parts of "CttE".
Good work

Nice, almost hymnal beginning. Reminds me of Barclay James Harvest.
At about 1:00 min. The rhythm really kicks in - a guitar with a strong
reverberation creates a huge space ...
At 1:55 min we have a stop and we can hear "Hollywood hates you" in
the best of pop fashion. I haven't heard such a beautiful, melodic and
varied song in a long time!
