I would love to have a version of Steve Lukather's Valley Arts "Robot" guitar. Always found it great sounding.
I have nothing to do with BÖC, just a huge fan who couldn't find a better name at the time of registering.

Or possibly an original Steinberger L series, but getting hard to find those in mint nick.
Had my Fender electric since 2007 and bought my Lowden acoustic last year.

werp already has EVERyONE of my "dream" GTRs - none left for me to acquire
I'm set with electrics tho - Tele, Strat, Parker - sorta want a hollow-body but . . .not badly enough
my dream acoustic would be well north of $3k and that's not reality aka

I've tried several basses and discovered that I'm just not a bass-player - can't find the drummer's pocket to save my life

This. If it had a 25.5 scale and no fret markers.

I got to record several iconic guitars over the years including the Telecaster used on Surfin USA and several very early American Strats from the 50s-60s..
My dream guitar is an old American Stratocaster, no upgrades, no changes, simply stock.

It's funny about the parker. Sounded great with my roland cube, not as great with my Yamaha THR. Actually many of my guitars have not been played through my 20 year old cube. The thing is I have to set the output to 2 much higher and the cops come. The tone controls are near useless until it gets past 7 on the output.
I think I'm done brick and mortar shopping. The only place I ever really liked closed. Fortunately the former owner opened a repair shop about a half a mile up the same road.
As much as I want another guitar I'm going to wait a year. I don't spend near enough time with the guitars I own now. I'm afraid that no matter how much I want the next one my interest will dwindle as is the case with my Jackson which sits waiting for me to replace the strings because I broke the high e abusing the trem and I don't have any single strings.

Already have my dream guitars. If I had the cash I'd go for one of those new fangled pickup swap out guitars. I'm sure I could find room for another nice acoustic.

I had a butterscotch tele, wasn't vintage or anything but mid range American, I had a Little '59 pickup fitted in the bridge (coil tapped with a push/pull on the volume knob) and a quarter pounder in the neck and it played and sounded like a dream. And I had to sell it to repair a boiler.....nothing exciting but a boiler...a boiler. Still wince at the thought of it being sold now.
I wonder if it misses me?

I'm rubbish at guitar playing - although I'd quite like to have a go at learning a Fender Jazz bass guitar to fulfill a dream of playing it like reggae legend Aston Family Man Barrett.
However, if ever one of these Moog Liberation keytars came up for sale and I had the money, then that would be extremely tempting...

Because he locked the drummer in his car.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.
