Every day is a lucky day for Linux users.....
I've got two systems running Kubuntu and Mint but I never use them for music. Maybe this will inspire me to try.

I don't have linux but maybe this will inspire me to try a dual-boot system. I was thinking Fedora maybe.

I don't know if I'd recommend Fedora right off the bat. I'd say try Linux Mint first. It makes the transition from Windows much easier and includes most if not all of the drivers you might need.
I like Kubuntu KDE because of its deep customization capability. You can really make it work and look the way you want.
You can use a Live USB where you can try a Distro out without actually having to install it. You just have to set your computer to boot from USB stick.
Distro Watch is a good resource. Seems like MX Linux is the most popular distro at this time:

With Kubuntu or Mint can you have the Gnome 2 desktop? I really liked how tidy that was.Teksonik wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 4:36 pm I don't know if I'd recommend Fedora right off the bat. Crumars are awesome and I would love to use this, but I can't get any sound out of this , either from the VST or VST3 versions. Anyone having any luck getting this to play? I'm running it in Linux Reaper.

For whatever reason, this wouldn't play until I touched the master volume, and then it started playing fine. Heads up in case anyone else has this issue.
