New Sonic Arts Vice 2.0 released

Vice 2.0 is officially released.

49 euros for version 1 users. Also anyone who purchased on or after 1st August is entitled to version 2.

Here is a list of new features for VICE 2.0:

REX import (including REX slice api when exporting slices)
Phrase (Play Through) play mode
Play mode 'Slice Shift' (groove adjustment)
Slice Unlink option (independent length)

Individual MIDI key-assignment per Slice

hmm maybe i dont see much yet but around 50 bucks for a new version which doesnt really has so much impact i dunno...
i expected finally some time stretch or something. mp3 support etc. is really nothing special nowadays is it?
