I Just played around in with Vital
I hear a simple Saw bass with a quick filter pluck envelope on it but I feel like the attack is modulated with some FM so you could do it in Sytrus or Serum/Vital etc and just make a small envelop for just the start of the sound and FM it with a sine and try different octaved etc because the body of the sound is just a saw but the attack will be some experimenting to get right

Does anyone have an alternative approach using a fm synth like Dexed or fm8 or Serum? Vitals bass response feels bit light.. maybe the original basses in the examples are layerd and compressed?

EVERYTHING in an EDM song is compressed like f**k AND usually layered too.
