OK, Thanks everyone for your support.
No, I'm not saying anything bad about KVR they have always been very supportive. I'm just saying that a few bad user comments can undo a lot of good ones if they occur at the wrong time like at the very end of a thread. But that is all part of the process so I guess it is to be expected.
Some users have reported problems with the server. We are aware of it and are currently fixing it. It is actually a problem with our provider. But it will be fixed by this weekend. Anyone needing direct download links can email me.
I hope our Vector users like the new gui designer so feel free to provide feedback here or images.

Not to mention how easy it is to work with. Although 'play' is more indicative than 'work', if describing the atmosphere when using it.RPH wrote: Tue Mar 09, 2021 10:50 am It's odd how some random comment can do that, by just demoing Fathom anyone can hear it's quality..

Are there any examples that show the enhancements of the sound in the Vector version? I couldn't find any googling or at the Fathom Synth youtube page that clearly show this. Would be helpful...

The web page states that you get these, in addition to the Fathom Pro features:killmaster wrote: Thu Mar 11, 2021 12:50 pm Are there any examples that show the enhancements of the sound in the Vector version? Intel AVX Parallel Processing; Metamorphic Oscillator; 16 Channel Modulated Digital Delay; Fathom FX.
Sound enhancements may be subjective, depending on how the Metamorphic Oscillator, and Delay are used. Some sound clip demos of these in action on the website might be helpful.

Indirectly, in the Trance Warehouse soundset, in the Rythmic section, killmaster wrote: Thu Mar 11, 2021 12:50 pm Are there any examples that show the enhancements of the sound in the Vector version? the two Redbull sounds each include the metamorphic oscillator, so we can put it to the test. I'm not a sound designer, but there's lots to experiment with.
Cheers

These metmorphic settings yield some nice synth-brass type sound above middle C, and a light hearted maybe balladable tone as you play lower.
(as the weekend crawls on it's hands and knees thru the desert,
hoping to arrive on time...

How can you hear that with Fathom Pro? If you need incentive to upgrade...glokraw wrote: Thu Mar 11, 2021 8:45 pmIndirectly, in the Trance Warehouse soundset, in the Rythmic section, killmaster wrote: Thu Mar 11, 2021 12:50 pm Are there any examples that show the enhancements of the sound in the Vector version? Glow, I thought I heed the metamorphic. Great job making it sound so good.
No, sorry, currently no plans for Mac arms. Apple just disabled their entire OS for independant developers so they are not currently on my Christmas list. At this point point ppl are lucky I am supporting Mac at all since apple has demonstrated such disdain toward basically every musician in the world.
Zzz is right. See his comment above. Vector adds intel AVX, metamorphic oscillator, 16 channel delay, fathom FX and now the GUI designer which allows you to reskin the entire interface.
Sorry, I do not yet have a good sound demo for metamorphic. But if you go to this link you can page through all 16 pages of the interface for metamorphic.

Also I think if you have trance warehouse you can load metamorphic presets into fathom pro and try it out without saving them.
If you are really into sound design and love tweaking every possible parameter then metamorphic alone will be worth every penny for you. If you are more of a preset guy then maybe not so much.
Hope that helps.

Great to see Fathom community popping up more often.
The Meta osc. Is a great piece of work.

There are many great Fathom sounds full of motion, so when you set your daw
to
60 bpm,
it's almost like getting a new synth for free. The attached audio is a single
preset from Ambietic Atmosphere's bank, quite different than some of my others. I have almost all the Fathom banks, and enjoy each of them. and most are on sale atm for $9, (a burger and coffee can't even carry a tune)

This is just a limited observation of Fathom's progress towards growth in popularity.
I have been a user of Fathom Pro since 2018. I did not discover it as the free "Mono" edition, but initially bought into Fathom Pro because the promo price for "Pro" was an apparent no-brainer at the time.
So, here I sit among the "inner circle" of existing Fathom users, and was curious just what the rest of the world thinks about this great synth. I decided to "Google" Fathom Synth and see what the current buzz is online...
I got a lot of hits for websites and reviews for the "Free" mono version, but other than the company site or KVR, very little for the current Pro or Vector versions. There are still a lot of mentions of older Fathom versions at places like PluginBoutique, VI-Control, Gearslutz, Musicradar, Synthanatomy, etc.
As a free product, it apparently made a big impression.
My observation is not intended to detract from Fathom in any manner, but only to wonder if a new and different marketing approach might make this excellent commercial synth more visible to potential users?
FYI, I'm not in marketing...just thinking out loud how Fathom could be made more commercially successful. I think that it ticks all the right boxes for synth users, however it seems to be a bit "under-the-radar" at the moment. If more folks were made aware of it, it might still take off...
