Could you recommend a decent wireless guitar transmitter?

I'm considering getting a wireless guitar transmitter receiver so I don't have to mess around with cables.
This would be primarily for home use, so it doesn't have to be pro-grade for stage. Although if the price is right, I'd definitely consider it.
Any thing I should avoid when looking into these? Or any brand, even. Maybe I should be wary of fixed rechargeable battery transmitters? How long would they last?

I find a tiny bit of fizzy distortion in the recording w/them; when I'm working final takes, I'll use a real wire

I bought a couple of these too. Really good performance, no noticeable latency. Haven't noticed any of the distortion though - could be variance between models, some external interference, or that my ears are f**ked due to being extremely, err, rock and roll.

How long have you had the Lekatos? Are you noticing any noticeable lowering of charge since you got them? I think they have a buiilt-in battery; does it look like you can get into the unit easily, or is it all glued together?

Had them 6 months - charge lasts as long as I need it to - no user accessible insides
