Hi Everybody, how are you?
I saw some videos of people using loops with onsets -> split onsets, then quantize...and I was wondering...
Why would you do that vs splitting to Drum Machine, then quantizing the MIDI OR better yet, follow the general Groove on BW.
Why people don't do it using Drum Machine?
It doesn't sound as good? Because the lack of Time Stretching?
In here using the groove starts phasing.....sounds terrible and he never tried to move to drum machine, do you know why?

The BEST solution, even better than Ableton Groove Pool is FXPANSION'S GEIST, Simply brilliant and overrated.
You can can SPLIT and transform audio loops to midi, with perfection and superior sound quality than BW, and use the general groove in BW or extract groove from other loops and apply to other loops.
Simply the BEST solution on the market to create beats using loops/split/apply groove/create from scratch and everything else you need to and this is 20% of Geist can do.
The best and fastest workflow.

Well FXPANSION have a history of discontinuing products, and not uncommon for it to happend after sales either, seing Geist 2 have a sale now. Same story with Geist and Tremor and DCAM Squad or what it was called.
