I bet if we spent half the R&D money we put into green technology into getting birth control to every single human on the earth that wanted it, we could save the planet.

They claim, that their vst is award winning.
What are all this awards vst´s can win this days and who awards them?
I have no idea.
The awards we present on our website are from tests in well-known printed magazines. Examples:
https://www.tone2.com/gladiator3.html
https://www.tone2.com/icarus.html

There are also websites, youtube channels and blogs that do tests. Examples and references:
https://www.tone2.org/forum/index.php?topic=544.0

As a customer it makes sense to check out of the 'award' is from a serious source

OK, but seriously, this is just basic marketing and networking. If your company receives an award for your product, you use that to your competitive advantage and you acknowledge and show your appreciation for the award by mentioning it on your website. I don't see the problem here.

I read the same on the juice packet I drank. I wonder how oranges shipped to the other side of the world help save the planet. :help:

Why should a printed magazine waste expensive paper with articles about crappy plugins? Their customers want to be informed about the stuff that is good and about garbage

to warn ppl?

the price of paper is irrelevant, the mag is paid for by sponsers/ads

i guess you are not familiar with CM....

I agree with Markus here. I'd go even further, people buy those magazines to read about the good stuff, not the bad. As circulation dwindles, ad revenue falls and budgets get tight, they simply can't afford to write about crap anymore. Plus, of course, there's so much stuff out there, they can pick from enough good stuff.

I am familiar with CM. They send me every mag that contains a test about a product from my company.
I don't know about other companies but want to point out here clearly that we never paid a single cent to CM for anything.
