i'm up to a half dozen or so ios apps that apple had stolen back, as well as a handful of albums of music. i'm getting a little upset at this arrangement.

None. I download everything with iTunes. There's a few apps that I can no longer update but that's about it.

apple didn't like that i had a @mac.com account and locked it, including everything attached to that account. this includes things like sunrizerxs and addictive synth for iphone. i now have four different itune accounts trying to keep up with their constant compulsive control freak thievery. i can no longer handle it all. it's a cluster f**k.

The e-mail is just a username, not the iTunes account itself. Contact AppleCare to associate it with a different e-mail if you can't receive mail on that mac.com account any longer. Anything you purchased still belongs to you and they'll help recover it, assuming of course the app/song/movie hasn't been removed from the store entirely for some other reason.

oh no. i've done this circle of nonsense with apple before. it used to be a near impossibility to talk to anyone at apple. they didn't want the lower class to speak to them. they have changed that policy over the years, and you can now get with an associate if you are willing to wait for them to be bothered with you, but they do NOT join accounts, and each of my mac user names has a different password, so they are all different accounts. there is a reason you can update one item under one name, and cannot update another item under a different name. its a cluster f**k. my @mac.com was my original itunes account, when it was first released... and then changed, and then changed again, and then changed again. they didn't want the lower class to have an @mac.com account anymore, even though they forced you to have one originally. it's apples world you understand, we just live in it.

i also turn off siri, location services, and icloud, and do NOT update my phone to their servers either. so you hackers can leave me be, there are no naked photos, or bank accounts to steal. i know better then to trust tim cook with my life.

This is one reason I have my old devices still using old versions of iOS. I would lose lots of apps and games that are 32-bit only. I still have old versions of iTunes with the app files all on an external hard drive so I can keep access to apps they may have removed. I also haven't really used my iPad in about five years. But once in a while I still pick it up for some old games.

When I upgraded iOS I knowingly lost about 30 or more 32-bit apps. Didn’t miss any but the app that reported drone war victims. A gorgeous obvious incident of censorship...(they couldn’t censor the web site which still reports it...)
I got more useful apps than I lost unused ones...
