Can someone recommend a robo voice program like this: https://www.plogue.com/products/chipspeech.html?

Preferrably free (if there are any such things).

That program is great, but I don't have 90 quid to spare.

Thanks

Man is least himself when he talks in the first person. Give him a mask, and he'll show you his true face

Could be too simple for you?
This one is definitely one of my favorites, has "that" sound to it...

Or just use the built-in text-to-speech in Windows and throw some effects on it, maybe something like BitSpeek (https://soniccharge.com/bitspeek) or the bitcrusher/reducer of your choice... that and some selective filtering and gating should make for a pretty decent compu-speech effect.

Vital has a free version and has a text to wavetable function... can be made to sound all sorts of ways

An alternative approach could be processing real vocals with an effect like Sonic Charge Bitspeek
