This is not a bug. By default REAPER handles all keystrokes. That error message is displayed by REAPER. If you do this, the plug-in will receive the keystrokes, like Ctrl-V:

Ouch! You are perfectly right, this was a huge bug!
I have fixed it, and will shortly upload v4.2b7 with the fix.

It is great that everything works reliably, thanks guys.

I am also happy that I was able to test with Cubase 11 (thanks, Steinberg!) and improve the stability of the plug-in.

Thanks to DLate, I turned my attention to memory allocations and optimize them to make RC reserve less RAM and be snappier. I realized some not-so-optimal things especially during startup.

Hi Xpoes,

good news: the latest RC beta version displays the channel selectors. It turned out there was a missing piece in the RC VST3 plug-in. Thanks, Presonus for the help!

Another good news: RapidComposer VST3 outputs 128 MIDI channels!

I am testing this with Studio One, not sure how other hosts handle it, but they should be able to...

I made a similar composition including many percussion tracks. When the tracks are made so small it is indeed very difficult to select a phrase. Is this the problem you are reporting? Please let me know.

Yes~ Finally I am here

It's not really the size issue but the project file itself. I'd tried reinstalling the RC and clearing the caches. But whenever I opened that file, it's buggy. I have to wait about 5 mins to execute each command such as deleting, copying, or clicking a button. Happened right after I generated a chunk of drum tracks phrases with Idea Tool in a folder. The prob persist even after I saved it as different file name or template. Other than that, RC seems fine opening other project file.

Crash when edit Percussion generator only in Idea tool. Change rhythm, move sliders, etc.
