Charlatan vst - I really do not know why people use that plugin, but it may have its upsides, obviously. Shattering guitar solos, lots of fx going on, what else is needed for an engaging tune? Nice work!

Good one!
And yeah, sounds finished to me, too.
I enjoyed it over its whole length - has lots of details and variety not to bore at all.
The guitar (synth) sound is well fitting as element.

Thanks :tu:

cool, ya the bass was a good starting point, kinda the heavy backbone, the piano was a nice touch in there. I remember when I first got amplitube I ran just about every m1 patch through it. there was one called feedback, it was the guitar with distortion already on it but with amplitube it got a heavy crunch sound and if you held the note the sound morphed into a feedback type thing, played it to death, lol

I didn’t really jive with the track first time round when I listened earlier, but I gave it another spin and I kinda like it now :) I think maybe there was too much going on for me to process. :)

This is a cool track with dark atmosphere and lots of signature sounds. That distorted guitar is awesome. Great mix as usual. :tu:

hi NR!
glad you stopped by :D
i will use whatever gets the job done, as far as vsts go.
and charlatan has been a bass tool in my box for some time.
it is as cpu efficient as synth1 and imho, rivals anything else
out there for a good low end. i'm glad you found it engaging. i know my stuff
is not going to be everyones cup. but for those that do stick around
long enough, they just might wanna stay till the end

hi thomekk, thanks for taking the time
to listen and comment.
i enjoy a good low end. and many of my
songs start as basslines. usually with
charlatan or TAL elektro as the source.
amplitube is an old plugin, but boy
it has a lot of amp cabinet and
distortion and effects to really fine tune
a specific sound. syn-pluck is a real obscure
tiny phy modeled pluck synth by signal dust
that is only a few kbs and when combined
with amplitube's small footprint, it gets the
fuzz guitar job done with very little cpu hit.
glad you hung in there to the finish.
i myself rarely sit through an entire
movie where the first 5 minutes is
repeated the entire time.

I liked the way that this track "broke out" of its predominantly dark vibe, and lightened up a little when the lead synth joined in. There is a great mix of patches on this one too.

Good work :)

Nice B movie soundtrack 80s vibe to this.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've heard a Layzer-Tune. Awesome mixing as usual. Love the synth sounds. Especially that hard sync synth.

Really enjoyed listening to this one.
