I think this one is finally ready. Aika Zabala provided harmonies as usual.
Any feedback is appreciated. The lyrics are on Soundcloud. Thanks for listening.

Yay, a new one by Frantz. Damn, it's been a long time.
What's there to say? You have perfected your sound. You immediately take me back to the 80s with music that I could absolutely imagine on the radio right along side of Human League.
I love the female singer's voice. Don't ever let her go. LOL
5 out of 5 stars. But man, you gotta come out with stuff more often.
Do you have a complete album of material (hopefully at least 12 songs) on sale somewhere? I will definitely buy it.

Great pop track - catchy and upbeat with nice hooks. Can't ask for anything more.....other than maybe a smidgen more reverb on the vocals?? Going for a second spin...

The harmonies are great. Might be the best track yet in terms of the way the two voices complement each other.
+1 on maybe a bit more reverb, given the aesthetic

Voted KVR's resident drunk Robert Smith impersonator (thanks Frantz!)

The sound on this new track is even more drawn to perfection. Uncomparable drum sound as always. The female vocs fit in very well. Enjoyed listening! Nice one..

Thanks very much for your encouraging feedback. I do intend to keep working with the same singer, Aika, as long as she is available.wagtunes wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 3:11 am Yay, a new one by Frantz. Damn, it's been a long time.

Yes, I am working slowly these days. Given long hours at work and RSI injuries, I need to work at a slower pace. I have only done 6 tracks since my last EP on Bandcamp so I wouldn't expect a complete album any time soon. Although I am considering doing some minimal, experimental tracks as a change of pace which could be done more quickly.

Nice pop song. I liked the rhythm of the riffs and melody lines. Good mix and sounds.

Love the chorus, its nice and sweet in the midst of the tense verses.
Only one thing in terms of mixing: there's an abrupt dynamics change at 0:32.
Overall enjoyed it a lot, complex and unique. Well done.

its more a seal of appreciation for a quality offering
that obviously took some real creative effort to produce,
not some random chaotic nonsense or 1 key note droan
BS labeled as "avant garde"

the usual quality work from you!
you and aka do work so well together.
while there is an 80s feel, it still sounds up to date and fresh!
