Works perfectly here in Cubase Pro 10. I use it quite regularly.
Also the latest fix version of polysix (2.0.5) didn't fix any major issues and they stuck at 2.0.5 (May) where mac os x 2.0.8 (from some days ago)
Ah, there's your problem - you're on macOS.
Also, when talking to support asking for the lastest old gui polysix version to continue the projects also describing the issues, you didn't get an answer - just a formal email answer that you will get an answer shortly - tried it several times, checked junk - finally no answer.
Where do you live? Different countries have different distributors who are responsible for local support. I wouldn't bother trying contact Korg directly.
For me Korg plugins are out of scope now because the market is so big, with so many many good plugins - so there is really no need to make business with a company which doesn''t really care about their customers.
Korg is not a software company, it's just a sideline for them. It's not that they don't care about their customers, it's more that it's a side of their business that probably only accounts for an insignificant fraction of their revenue and none of their profits.
BYE, BYE I really liked Polysix, was one of my favorites. RIP
Well, who do you think is losing out here? Korg, who will make more money in the time it takes to read this post than they ever made off you, or you, who is not going to use one of your favourite instruments any more because Korg didn't make you feel special enough? Grow up.

Where the fuuuck in the Init setting on Wavestation?

I don't think there's an empty slot so you have to find one you don't mind overwriting e.g. I went for one names Skip's BoomBass in bank RAM2 preset number 37. It only has one layer so go into Edit, hit List and then select "---:No Patch" against the first layer (or Part as they're named on the Wavestation) - that is effectively an Init patch now.

Are you safe?

It works conceptually like the hardware, where you overwrite its own internal memory. However, in the virtual version you can go to File > Save All RAMs to save the factory presets. Then you can overwrite whatever you want, save it as your own bank, load other banks, etc..

Hey guys, as usual with Korg, everything is a bloody war. I don't use Wavestation very often due to having tons of other synths of which I like more. But out of chance, loaded an instance, noticed the random vector postion for the first time and went looking for the manual which of course, the 2.0 doesn't seem to have come with a revised edition. I just spent 30 minutes online searching all to no avail, so does anyone here know what it's actually randomizing given the vast changes some sounds go through clicking it? Alternatively, if you can send me to any link that has a re-written manual, I have no issue doing the work myself. Thanks.

Random button just creates random patches with different sound sources.
The "Vector Position" is just a label for the vector stick UI on top. Confusing placement I guess.

Have they fixed Polysix in Cubase yet?

on PC? somewhat.
They emailed me a version about 2 months ago, that works fine... but they hadn't put it in their general public release when I checked about one month ago.

Yeah PC. Cubase blacklists it on a regular basis. it is mightily annoying.
Looks like I will have to wait a little longer or email support.

Email them.. they have a fix which they did send me....
It isn't in your account? (edit: it isn't in mine.. my account has 2.0.5 and the beta they sent me was 2.1.2..... they sure take time to roll stuff out)

Thanks for the info about the random icon.

Honestly, i have had this discussion with another VST friend of mine and they must have the worst IT section I've come across in music. Literally, no updates or emails. I only found out months later, by accident, about the last major-and great-update in which you could resize the GUIs and actually see what you were doing on the Wavestation. Then there's the Legacy Cell issue which I only finally got working again after years of it not being recognized or being useable in any form, though the Polysix and MS-20 GUI is still the same as it ever was, regardless of the new GUIs. Don't get me wrong, I love the update and the new browsers, especially useful in the Wavestation and M1. But just last night, I was in the Korg site, and do you think I could find my products easily? There's not a single thing self evident as to where to locate them in the site. I just kept clicking everything until I found it. I didn;t even know there was a beta zvenx.

Again, Korg doesn't care. It's not their core business and it's clearly not a support model they have any interest in. The alternative is far more likely to be removing the products from sale, rather than changing their support. You spoiled little children just have to get used to not being the centre of attention.

All the more reason I'm happy a Korg Triton plugin was made when it was because Korg showing any interest in anything software related is akin to seeing pigs fly.

Reminder to self.. check for updates

Don't be such a cry baby please. All KORG soft synths work just fine as they are.
I have never, ever experienced any crashes in my DAWS (Cubase 11, Logic, Ableton Suite 11, Reason), KORG plugins seems to work just fine and Gadget versions are NI Core compatible as well. and all these on my Mac mini M1 under Rosetta 2 :)
BTW; KORG does update Legacy collection quite often.
