I would be whining as well if I got a copyright strike when I actually did not breach copyright. I think you'll find that in a lot of cases he is justified, I can't comment on all his youtube copyright strikes as I have not really had time to check what all the breaches were for. I think it is to do with the fact that what he has put up on youtube is legal to use under U.S law for educational purposes which it clearly is educational. I think the breaches are in relation to certain videos which he titles 'WHAT MAKES THIS SONG GREAT' In which he gives his in depth opinion on what makes the song great.
Sometimes copyright holders complain and make threats that are unjustified, and it may be that youtube are often over zealous with their rules. Also often the copyright holders have a lot of money and power that when used in a certain way (lawsuit threats) can quickly make people comply regardless of what the law states.
