Hi everyone,
I'm really interested in the original Geist software, not Geist 2. Happy to pay for it even but I don't think license transfers are available for it anymore.

I also found references to a free/lite version of Geist, https://bedroomproducersblog.com/2020/0 ... lite-free/

but it seems this too has been discontinued since last year?

Does anyone have a way of getting at least this version that's supposed to be accessible once you sign up for an FXPansion account?

I really want a lightweight MPC style AU plugin with 16 square layout pads and Geist feels perfect for it. Geist 2 seems pretty bloated and not what I'm looking for.

You'll likely need to do some translating, but Beat magazine out of Germany has offered Geist Lite a few times. Here's one example that appears to still be available...

^That link worked. Download in Chrome, not Safari, and enter the password from the link given.

Unfortunately I got as far as the serial number page. It asks me for a serial number to unlock the full, not demo version of Geist Lite. I believe they were automatically generated on FX's website, but the page has been disabled.

Ugh, why did they do this.

Edit: Trying one more thing to get around the serial number that I probably can't mention here...

I believe they just started offering the English edition last year, so there isn't an English edition for the Workzone I linked to.
