Hi guys, I have few hw synths but looking for something more vintage like sounding with lack of this ear piercing presence nowadays hw and software synths have.To my ears the Alesis Micron and the Yamaha an1x sounds the closest dont have space sadly for Ion or Yamaha.I have already Modal Skulpt just wanted variety.I will add at some point mininova had blofeld overusrd it a lot.Was offered dirt cheap virus but I simply dont like the sound of it.
Any owners of the Micron here?

I had one years ago but didn't think much of it and sold it to someone.

I've got a Micron, and the only way to get close to the programming possibilities it has is to spend four or five times as much for something else.

It's a sound chameleon capable of many colors, with dual comb and formant filters being just a couple of the many, many options.

Alesis is really dropping the ball by not following up with an encore to the Ion/Micon/MiniAK line.

as for programming, imho, the patchbae editor (ios/macos) is quite helpful

I had one and I quite liked it but from what you've said here, I'm not sure you'd like it. It is, after all, just a very modern softsynth in a specialised aluminium box, with very deep programmability. I eventually sold mine (because I'm an idiot). I was looking at them on eBay a couple of weeks ago, thinking I should get another one, but in the end I resisted the urge.
